New training concept for the insulation trade; sharing knowledge and increasing expertise
Münster, 7 August 2017. – Armacell has restructured its seminar programme for the insulation trade and now offers participants a training passport. The training concept is based on four levels: Basic (Bronze), Professional (Silver) Specialist (Gold) and Master (Platinum). To confirm that the participant has successfully completed the practical seminars, the training passport is stamped and signed by the Armacell application specialist.
A plus for reliability and competitiveness
For more than 30 years, Armacell has been offering application training to ensure quality and reliability in the installation of its products. Throughout the world, several thousand insulators attend the Armacell training courses every year. At many facilities the insulation manufacturer has set up special training centres. In addition, the company contributes to initial and further training through a wide range of courses and also provides valuable on-site support for installers’ day-to-day work. Cryogenic applications, green building programmes, enhanced noise control, new adhesive systems – the insulation trade is faced with growing requirements and new products and installation techniques are being developed. If insulators are to rise to these challenges and maintain a competitive edge they need the appropriate expertise.
A strong alliance for higher quality
“We see ourselves as a provider of solutions in insulation technology. That doesn’t just include high-quality products, but also know-how on the perfect use of our systems. Because only correctly dimensioned and properly installed insulation systems ensure long-term protection against energy losses and condensation. The Armacell Training Passport is a further building block in our decades of commitment to application training in the insulation sector,” explains Georgios Eleftheriadis, Armacell Manager Technical Marketing EMEA. A further benefit of the Armacell seminars: trained ArmaFlex installation firms can be certified by the company and receive extended warranty periods. With the ArmaFlex System Warranty certified insulation firms are granted a warranty of up to ten years, instead of the statutory two years.
