Capellen, 14 June 2018 – Armacell, a global leader in flexible foam for the equipment insulation market and a leading provider of engineered foams, is supporting Special Olympics Luxembourg (SOL).
As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), Armacell is supporting the Luxembourg federation’s participation in the 2019 Summer Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi. This event will bring together more than 7,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities. Armacell will especially support the tennis team and be actively involved in the federation’s 40th anniversary.
Special Olympics Luxembourg promotes sports as a way of helping people with intellectual disabilities to flourish and improve their integration and inclusion in society. For 40 years, the federation has been offering weekly training sessions and enabling participation in national and international competitions to 400 athletes in as many as 12 sports.

Special Olympics Luxembourg allows athletes to develop personally, share experiences and discover new cultures.
