The new office houses the local commercial team which has been expanded due to the importance of the country. Japan has been one of the fastest growing markets for Armacell in recent years.
The new office reinforces the company´s commitment to growth in Japan and expanded support for its distribution partners. It further underlines Armacell’s position as a global leader in the market for flexible technical insulation.
The new technical application centre will offer classroom-based training to local contractors and installers and educate them on the correct methods for installation of Armacell’s products. Local training and the launch of a certified-installer program will ensure the quality of the product’s installation, and the reputation of professional insulation synonymous with Armacell.
According to industry experts, Japan has the second largest construction market in Asia by size, andgrowth prospects are strong. This is due to reconstruction efforts as well as preparation for the 2020 Olympics.
