Armacell appoints Barracuda Advanced Composites as distributor in Brazil

• Strengthening of Armacell’s market position in Brazil
• High demand for Armacell’s recycled PET foam products

Luxembourg/Thimister, 20 September 2019 – Armacell, a global leader in flexible foam for the equipment insulation market and a leading provider of engineered foams, today announced the appointment of Barracuda Advanced Composites as a distributor of its PET foams product portfolio for Brazil.

We are seeing consistently strong demand for our structural PET foam core materials all over the world. To cope with this demand and expand our current Brazilian customer base, Barracuda Advanced Composites is a key partner to support our growth strategy in the South American market,”

The distribution agreement covers Armacell’s entire range of ArmaForm products from structural foam boards to thin flexible sheets, all made from Armacell’s patented r-PET technology. This enables the production of structural PET foams using recycled PET bottles.
