The future of construction is digital. Because buildings can be planned completely digitally from design to commissioning, maintenance and demolition, ‘Building 4.0’ allows greater planning security, process optimization, efficiency and sustainability.
In collaboration with the software industry, leading manufacturers are working on solutions for planning their products using Building Information Modelling (BIM). In the field of technical insulation we are a pioneer and now offer a plug-in which allows technical insulation materials for building service equipment to be planned digitally.
We introduced a BIM module for the Autodesk Revit® program in the USA as early as 2011. Since 2015 we have been the first manufacturer of flexible insulation materials in the UK to provide BIM objects, which can be downloaded from the NBS National BIM Library free of charge. Now we have gone a step further and introduced an Autodesk Revit® plug-in for planning technical insulation materials for building service equipment digitally.
Our BIM plug-in is available in all European languages and national users are automatically provided with the product data relevant to them.
It works with Windows 7, Windows10 and for Revit Versions 2015, 2016 and 2017.
