ArmaFlex SE is the essential energy-efficient solution developed for offering the best balance between quality and value. It is a highly flexible, closed-cell insulation material. Insulation/protection of pipes, air ducts, vessels (incl. elbows, fittings, flanges etc.) of air-conditioning, refrigeration and process equipment to prevent condensation and save energy as well as insulation of pipes in sanitary and heating applications.
Its technical features makes it suitable for applications such as HVAC-Air (ventilation) and HVAC-Liquid (piping).
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Insulating mechanical equipment with ArmaFlex SE is one of the simplest measure to be energy efficient. With air-conditioning accounting for approximately 50 percent of office and public buildings energy demand today, equipment insulation offers an enormous energy saving potential.
INCREASED FIRE SAFETY
95 percent of fire fatalities occur due to smoke inhalation. In a fire, low smoke density can be a matter of life or death for those trapped. Armacell uses innovative technologies to get the right balance between high technical performance and minimal smoke development. ArmaFlex SE is the upgraded essential insulation solution meeting C-s2 smoke regulation (increased from s3 to s2 classification).
COMPLIANT TO EU REGULATIONS
Technical insulation products have to comply with the European standards. European authorities also streamline the importance of moving to products with a better smoke classification in order to increase the fire safety in buildings. Available in both tubes and sheets, it is compliant with the European regulations and with national certifications such as MVV TB.
