Armacell Benelux appoints Composite Essential Materials distributor for PET foam cores in US
Thimister-Clermont, 11th January 2017 - To support its ambitious growth strategy in the North American market, Armacell Benelux, is pleased to announce the appointment of Composite Essential Materials as distributor of its PET foam core product portfolio.
“Our new global PET core production setup, with a 3rd PET foam extrusion line in our Canadian plant to be operational Q1/2017, will form the basis for the continuation of the successful business with our American wind turbine customers and open the door for new markets and applications identified in the marine, transportation as well as the infrastructure and automotive industry where composites are increasingly used“, says Henri Chapelle, General Manager Sales & Marketing. “The cooperation represents a great opportunity for us to more rapidly penetrate these new applications and we see Composite Essential Materials as one of the key partners to support our growth strategy in the North American business”, he adds.

The distribution agreement covers Armacell’s complete range of PET foams, structural foam boards (PET Core) and thin flexible sheets (PET Foil), both 100% made of recycled PET and thus unique foam core materials in the composite industry.
