FLEXIBLE HALOGEN-FREE TECHNOLOGY
Technical insulation for stainless steel - NH/ArmaFlex®
NH/ArmaFlex is a halogen-free, flexible closed cell foam insulation that is certified for use in marine and railway applications as well as special building types. This technical insulation solution provides excellent water vapour diffusion resistance for long-term thermal stability in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) applications such as air conditioner systems, water chiller systems, and air ducts. NH/ArmaFlex does not contain halogens such as chloride and bromide and is suitable to use on stainless steel pipes, ducts, and vessels to prevent stress corrosion cracking.
Key features of NH/ArmaFlex
- Does not contain halogens (chloride, bromide) according to DIN / VDE 0472, part 815. Fulfills DN 1988 Part 200.
- A reliable technical insulation solution for shipyards or marine environments
- Professional closed cell foam insulation material for clean rooms
- Suitable for use on stainless steel - prevent stress corrosion cracking when installed

ArmaFlex FRV fulfils NFPA 274 requirements, a full-scale test simulating one of the most stringent fire environments in high-rise buildings. Infused with Microban antimicrobial product protection, this FM-approved product is the preferred insulation for HVAC/R applications.
HT/ArmaFlex is a flexible elastomeric foam insulation used in high temperature applications (up to 150 ºC). The advanced insulation solution for industrial applications. Reduces the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI). Built-in UV-resistance for long service life.
Welcome to the next generation of aerogel blanket technology. Flexible and bendable. Environmentally safe. Superior thermal performance. Designed for safety. C1728 compliant. ArmaGel HT is the reliable solution for high-temperature applications.
Armacell. Global presence. Local focus.
ArmaFlex is Armacell's product heritage. The standard ArmaFlex product is manufactured across the Armacell world and customised to meet local requirements and often combined with other products into hybrid solutions. ArmaFlex FRV, for example, has been fire-tested for vertical pipe chases to NFPA 274, is free of fibre and formaldehyde and has a Type III Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
