In India, the Global Armacell Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation across the organisation. Organization of the event kicked off at the beginning of the year, when it was decided that the employees would donate useful items like clothes, toys, books, stationary etc. to a nearby orphanage – “Maher”. All levels of employees donated wholeheartedly to this activity and a substantial amount of items were collected.
On 15th August i.e. Independence Day, the Armacell team visited the orphanage and spent the day with the kids in various activities such as painting competition, group games etc. Armacell India also donated Rs. 1,00,000/- towards the sponsorship of girl education to the orphanage.
On 10th Sep. 2015, the Armacell team went for a 1-day excursion to Adlabs Imagica near Khopoli and spent the day with joyful entertainment. Mr Jayant Rajan, GM – India & South Asia spoke during the occasion and congratulated the whole team on successful completion of the social cause that was undertaken. He also stressed on the importance of the activity and wished everyone to continue such activities. It was a great experience for the Armacell team and the moments spent throughout the month of activities will be cherished by the employees for a long time.
